Debate Fact Checkers Prove Trump Was Against the Iraq War

During the debate a lot of time was spent on whether or not Donald Trump was for or against the war in Iraq. Lester Holt tried to assert over and over that Donald Trump supported the invasion of Iraq (he didn’t tell the American people that Hillary supported it—which she did, she voted in favor of it while senator of New York).

Trump, to his credit, explained in detailed fashion how that was untrue and that it was a lie put out by Hillary Clinton’s camp and spread continuously by the liberal media (which Lester Holt is a part of).

While this issue is not necessarily important to the voters of today, it does show the liberal media’s bias against Trump. They try to spread lies about him in order to prop up their own candidate probably because her own decisions during her time as a senator and as secretary of state have been so awful.

But the question remained in some voters mind afterwards if Trump did indeed support the invasion of Iraq and the subsequent war. Fact checkers immediately after the debate were able to find a clip from before the invasion in which Trump gives his opinion on what should be done. Check it out below.
