DOJ, FBI Crack Down On Unholy Planned Parenthood

The U.S. Department of Justice has launched a major investigation into Planned Parenthood’s reported selling of aborted baby body parts.

The allegations created a national backlash against the government-funded abortion clinics in 2015 when the Center for Medical Progress captured high-level Planned Parenthood administrators negotiating baby part prices. The videotaped conversations prompted many Conservative lawmakers to push for a criminal investigation. The sale of fetal body parts for profit is a criminal offense.

At the time of the controversial video evidence, Planned Parenthood pushed back by claiming the tapes had been heavily edited despite clear discussion of money. The Obama-led justice department declined to open an investigation and the FBI stood down. However, Congressional Republicans pushed forward.

Both the Senate and U.S. House committees on Infant Lives took up the potential criminal activity of after the Center for Medical Progress exposed the baby parts ring. Toward the end of 2016, both committees sent recommendation to the FBI that called for a criminal investigation against Planned Parenthood.

Led by Sen. Chuck Grassley, the FBI referrals have resulted in the FBI and DOJ scrutinizing the abortion group’s activities.

“I don’t take lightly making a criminal referral. But, the seeming disregard for the law by these entities has been fueled by decades of utter failure by the Justice Department to enforce it,” Grassley reportedly said. “And, unless there is a renewed commitment by everyone involved against commercializing the trade in aborted fetal body parts for profit, then the problem is likely to continue.”

The final report, called “Human Fetal Tissue Research: Context and Controversy,” was promulgated in December 2016. In it, Grassley and others concluded that Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers should be subject to an FBI criminal investigation.

Less than one month before the Senate committee produced its findings, the House Select Panel on Infant Lives compiled a list of nine criminal and regulatory allegations against Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers and fetal tissue companies. The referral comes after putting the illegal practice of profiting on aborted baby remains under a strict criminal microscope. The House committee is also calling for investigations into possible HIPAA violations and other crimes.

Both the FBI and DOJ have officially requested unredacted transcripts and documents from the congressional committees as the case moves forward.

“We can confirm the Criminal Investigative Division (CID) of FBI Headquarters received your referrals and sent them to the relevant FBI field offices for review and whatever action is deemed appropriate,” FBI official Gregory Brower reportedly responded.

Controversial Video Expose

Posing as industry insiders, members of the Center for Medical Progress engaged Planned Parenthood officials in a series of potentially illegal discussions about buying and selling aborted baby parts. The expose’ has been released in 14 videos. These include instances that shocked the nation.

  • Video 1:Planned Parenthood Dr. Deborah Nucatola reportedly spoke about strategic “baby-crushing.” “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”
  • Video 4:Abortionist Dr. Savita Ginde reportedly states, “We don’t want to do just a flat-fee (per baby) of like, $200. A per-item thing works a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it.”
  • Video 7:Former Planned Parenthood employee Holly O’Donnell reportedly discussed harvesting aborted baby organs from almost completely intact bodies at Planned Parenthood’s Mar Monte’s Alameda clinic in San Jose. “‘You want to see something kind of cool,’” O’Donnell reportedly says her supervisor asked her. “And she just taps the heart, and it starts beating. And I’m sitting here and I’m looking at this fetus, and its heart is beating, and I don’t know what to think.”
  • Video 13:A Planned Parenthood medical director reportedly confesses that some babies are born alive and then killed.

Administrators at Planned Parenthood and others have denied claims raised in these investigative video reports. Officials continue to deny the abortion organization has profited from the sale of aborted baby body parts or has taken any illegal steps.

Rather than open a criminal investigation based on the investigative video reports, California officials charged the journalists with the crime of filming the Planned Parenthood administrators without consent.

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has vowed to uphold the laws regarding profiteering on baby parts and adhere to U.S. Supreme Court rulings regarding abortion.
