The Vice-Presidential debates never receive as much attention as the Presidential debates, yet this individual debate covers a considerable amount of important ground and it really is essential for all voting Americans to do what they can to watch the debate or, at the very least, look into what went on.
Mike Pence, Donald Trump’s VP candidate decided not to pull any punches during the debate. While much of the media has attempted to paint the economy in a glowing light, Pence brought up very important numbers.
While the stock market might be in an elevated bubble, more people are on unemployment and don’t have quality work now than before Obama went into office (with Hillary as his Secretary of State).
The problem with Obama’s job numbers is when someone stops looking for work, they are no longer counted towards unemployment. If someone takes a bad job because they need to in order to support their family, it doesn’t count towards unemployment. There are still many people who lost their quality jobs working in production plants and manufacturing but are now stuck in a minimum wage position simply because there is no other option.
