The video makes it clear that Muslim refugees are given priority over those of other religions, but it doesn’t paint the whole picture, which is much worse.
The Syrian population is primarily Muslim, but there are significant portions of the population that subscribe to Christianity and other religions. In fact, 10 percent of Syrians identify as Christian, and under the current warring regimes, that honesty makes them one of the top targets for torture, murder and other forms of persecution.
Now, compare that to the refugee admission. Of the almost 13,000 refugees in the U.S. right now, 99.2 percent are Muslim. Only 0.54 percent are Christian.
The BLM movement has made it clear how important fair population distributions are, and this one is a far cry from proportional representation.
There’s another number that’s much worse. In 2016 so far, roughly 10,000 Syrian refugees have come to the U.S. Two of them were Christian. For those keeping count, that’s 0.00016 percent.
To say that this is anything other than a systematic discrimination that is directly endangering Syrian Christians to religious cleansing is a lie in the face of cold, hard facts.
