While Hillary Clinton’s campaign team has claimed that speculation about Clinton’s health is just that, Dr. David Scheiner, President Obama’s former personal physician, said in an interview (wherein he also discussed Donald Trump’s status) that he has real apprehension about it.
Scheiner stated that he has questions about the medications Clinton is receiving and believes the Democratic candidate should be subjected to an in-depth neurological exam. This is especially significant coming from the current president’s past doctor, who Obama was a patient of for more than 20 years.
Scheiner is worried about the status of Clinton’s care and believes more records relating to it need to be released. As a 68-year-old with past neurological injuries and the potential for latent mental incapacity, Clinton could potentially occupy the highest office in the land, which should be a matter of grave concern for all Americans.
The presidency is well-known for being one of the country’s toughest jobs, balancing delicate relationships with foreign governments, world leaders and the nation’s military, all of which are dependent on the American leader’s health being in near-perfect shape.
