The situation in Milwaukee is nothing new and nothing surprising. A socially failing region, with some of the worst schools and highest unemployment in the country is exactly where you can expect mass riots when an armed criminal is gunned down in self-defense.
Yet, you hear no rhetoric from the left on how Milwaukee became home to so many downtrodden folks. Why? The answer is obvious. Liberal politics destroyed any chance of hope for those communities. The city has suffered as industrial jobs moved away, but under the Bush administration there was nearly a decade of rebuilding.
Since Obama took office, things have plummeted at the worst rate in history. Liberal economics always fail, and when they do, they use the spectacle that they can create with race baiting and induced rioting to hide their responsibility in creating the situation in the first place.
It’s time to call an oppressive regime what it is and stop tolerating Black Lives Matter out of a misplaced association with the real heroes of the Civil Rights Movement.
