The real commentary here is that criticizing Black Lives Matter or any minority protest has become so taboo that a show like South Park can’t resist. The writers of this clip are sure to be branded as racists and bigots, but the comedy speaks to a real truth.
Black Lives Matter wants to hobble the police, and when they are indulged, things turn dangerous quickly. Chicago is a prime example. At the start of 2016, they agreed to document their street stops more thoroughly. The seemingly innocuous practice is time consuming, and it has led to a city-wide decrease in productivity.
How has this affected Chicago?
Murder is up 72 percent, and shootings are up by more than 88 percent. Keep in mind that Chicago has dramatically harsher gun laws and a larger police force per capita than almost anywhere else in the country.
Black Lives Matter may not have originated from a place of evil, wanting to hold police officers accountable for the deaths of civilians, but in practice, it has pushed the nation into factions that have made everything more dangerous for everyone, regardless of race, creed or occupation.
