Watch BLM Interrupt Moment of Silence at DNC

Talk about disrespect! Watch as Black Lives Matters protesters interrupt a sacred moment of silence called by Lupe Valdez of the Dallas Police Department at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

Valdez was attempting to honor fallen police officers in Dallas, Baton Rouge and other cities — officers who were killed in the line of duty while protecting ordinary Americans (including members of BLM).

Certainly, if the tables were turned, and officers yelled out during a moment of silence for slain members of the public, there would be an outcry such as you’ve never heard. When will people realize that membership in social justice organizations like BLM isn’t a free pass to trample on the rights of citizens and the values of common decency?

Law enforcement is one of the most dangerous jobs in America, and many of the people that work in this field face life-threatening circumstances on a near-daily basis. They deserve our honor and respect. When a member of their forces makes the ultimate sacrifice, the least we can offer them is a little dignity on the occasion of a public assembly.
