How many times has Trump been attacked for saying mean or unpleasant things about people? Yet, the left celebrates Clinton denouncing a significant portion of Americans. If they are irredeemable, how exactly does she plan to fix the problem?
She’s made it clear that her leadership is insufficient. Will she have to resort to more draconian tactics?
As much as Trump has been criticized for being blunt about the things that are wrong in this country, he has never abandoned hope for its citizens. His campaign is built on the principle that bad policies can be amended to make America a better place.
He does not campaign on the promise that the left is an unsalvageable mess that has no place in our country. In fact, he wants to see even his opposition succeed under a revised set of policies that give all Americans better opportunities across the board.
The irony of the “deplorables” comment is just too much. A campaign that has built itself on accusing the right of being racist and bigoted is in fact committing bigotry with this unwarranted smear campaign. Mike Pence said well. Americans are not irredeemable simply because they are smart and reasonable enough to want to keep such an overtly corrupt politician out of the White House.
