For all intents and purposes, the “Affordable” Care Act, better known as Obamacare, has proven to be a complete disaster. There are some who have been able to receive health insurance, but the vast majority of Americans have seen their health insurance quality go down and their premium costs go up with no end in sight. So, naturally, Donald Trump has promised to fix this major issue for Americans.
Now, Democrats are using a scare tactic stating that repealing Obamacare would actually “make America sick again.” The Democrats obviously practiced this line over and over again in front of the mirror because all of the major liberal speakers at a news conference used this phrase. However, it is necessary to look into what would happen if and when Obamacare is repealed.
Now, if suddenly Obamacare vanished with nothing in its place, there could foreseeably be some initial issues (not as bad as the creation of ISIS when Obama decided to withdraw U.S. troops with nothing to replace it of course).
However, the fact of the matter is President Trump and many Republican Congressmen have stated they simply are not just going to abolish it with nothing in its place. In an interview Trump said he wants to keep parts of Obamacare that would not increase costs, like barring insurance companies from denying someone because of a pre-existing condition.
But sneaky liberals are ignoring all that and instead pushing their anti-Trump rhetoric without basis. Check out the video to watch what liberals are saying to try to frighten Americans into believing this nasty rumor.
